The following is a review received from a recent customer who engaged me to install a new wetroom.
"Last year, my husband and I employed a plumber to install a new pumped-shower system, shower tray and sink taps in our en-suite bathroom in an attempt to breathe a little life into a room that had become shabby and dated. Unfortunately, the work was poor quality and we were left with a number of on-going issues which were never rectified. Eventually, we decided enough was enough; we would start again from scratch and employ someone to convert the en-suite into a wet room.
In view of our previous experience, we felt uneasy about the prospect of looking for someone to do the job. We gathered a number of quotes from a variety of sources but none of the people we met seemed right. I searched the internet and found Richard’s web site Richard Knight Tiling. Richard came to do a survey for the project and we knew instantly that he was the right person for the job: he was friendly and courteous as well as extremely professional and knowledgeable in all matters. We were also impressed by his very detailed quote which outlined every aspect of work to be undertaken.
As work got underway, we were introduced to Stewart - the plumber who works with Richard - and it was clear from the outset that both Richard and Stewart were meticulous in all aspects of their work. The planning and preparation was carefully and methodically carried out. Stewart solved all of the issues that had been left by the previous plumber.
Richard and Stewart were conscientious, proficient and highly-skilled in all areas of their work. They were also very considerate, patient and attentive to us as customers and both gave the high level of personal service promised on Richard’s website; it is clear that they both value their customers. Additionally, they treated our home with the utmost respect and always left the house spotlessly clean and tidy at the end of every working day.
Richard and Stewart are reliable, honest, professional and trustworthy – we had no hesitation in leaving them to get on with the job in hand at any time.
My husband and I are beyond thrilled with our new wet room; it is a first class job. Richard and Stewart have taken an outdated, problematic en-suite bathroom and transformed it into a comfortable, functional, beautiful room which is a joy to use. The finish of the room and the attention to detail is superb. We cannot thank them enough.
I would not hesitate in recommending Richard and Stewart to anyone considering any of the work detailed on the website. In fact, we will be arranging for them to do further work for us on the other bathrooms/cloakroom in the house in the future."
